Since its formation in 1904, Broken Arrow Public Schools (BAPS) has become a dynamic leader in public education. Serving more than 19,000 students, BAPS has four early childhood centers (Pre-K), 14 elementary schools (grades K-5), five middle schools (grades 6-8), one freshman academy (ninth grade), one high school (grades 10-12), one alternative academy and one site dedicated to the Margaret Hudson Program.
Union Public Schools (UPS) is the eighth largest public school district in Oklahoma. UPS has approximately 16,000 students, pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, residing within a 28-square-mile boundary encompassing both southeast Tulsa and a portion of Broken Arrow. The school system includes an early childhood center (3 year olds), 14 elementary schools (Pre-K-5), five secondary schools (grades 6-7), 8th Grade Center, 9th Grade Center, High School (Grades 10-12,) and an Alternative School.
